Pronto Secures $45 Million in Series B Funding

Pronto, an innovative household services startup, has successfully secured $45 million in its Series B funding round, thanks to an additional investment of $20 million from Lachy Groom. This recent investment boosts the company’s valuation to $200 million, effectively doubling it in just about a month. This round of funding follows the initial tranche of $25 million in the Series B round.

Notable existing investors include General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures, Glade Brook Capital Partners, Epiq Capital, and Lachy Groom. To date, Pronto has attracted approximately $60 million in total funding.

Established in 2025 by Anjali Sardana, Pronto serves as a bridge between households and qualified professionals who have undergone thorough background checks. The services provided include cleaning, laundry, utensil washing, meal preparation, car washing, and gardening.

Growth in Service Demand and Workforce

Since the initial close of the Series B round, Pronto has observed a remarkable increase in daily bookings, rising from 18,000 to 26,000. This surge translates to nearly 780,000 bookings each month. Furthermore, the company’s professional workforce has expanded from 1,440 in January to 6,500 within the last four months. Currently, the platform operates at over 65% utilization.

The Vision for the Future

Anjali Sardana shared that the organization of informal labour is poised to be a transformative trend in the service industry over the next decade. The long-term aspiration for Pronto is to establish itself as the world’s largest platform for labour organization.

Strategic Expansion Plans

In the next six months, Pronto aims to strengthen its presence in the cities where it operates. Additionally, the startup has ventured into expanding its service offerings in areas such as car washing, gardening, and home cooking within select micromarkets like Bengaluru.

Competitive Landscape

This sector is experiencing heightened competition, with both established companies and new players entering the market. Urban Company’s InstaHelp service recently reported exceeding 1 million bookings in March, while Snabbit also achieved this milestone during the same timeframe.

Investor interest has surged in this category over the past year, with funding raised by Pronto and Snabbit reaching nearly $170 million since January 2025, including around $100 million alone in 2026. Additionally, Snabbit successfully concluded a $56 million Series D round last month.
