Magical Nest Secures Funding to Enhance Children’s Interior Design
Raanro Interior Technology, the parent entity of the children’s interiors brand Magical Nest, has successfully acquired Rs 4.12 crore in a pre-seed funding round, boasting a pre-money valuation of Rs 60 crore. This funding round attracted participation from Stargazer Fund alongside angel investors such as Kunal Shah, the founder of CRED, Ankit Nagori of EatFit, Gaurav Singh Kushwaha, and Tata 1MG founders Prashant Tandon and Gaurav Agarwal, as well as Anshuman Singh.
The newly raised capital will be directed towards fast-tracking the development of an AI-driven platform designed to streamline the entire interior design process, covering aspects from lead generation and customer discovery to design, pricing, execution, and delivery, as indicated in a press announcement.
Co-founded in 2025 by Rahul Bhatt, Ankush Dixit, and Rohit Rai, Magical Nest is dedicated to creating functional and safe environments for children. The brand provides complete interior solutions that encompass furniture, storage solutions, study areas, play zones, and customised décor specifically for kids.
According to industry reports, India’s home interiors market is projected to surpass $30 billion. Magical Nest integrates activity zones, modular furniture, creative spaces, and smart storage systems that adapt to children’s evolving requirements. The projects typically range in cost from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9 lakh, contingent on the level of detail and personalisation involved.
The company operates in major cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi NCR, while also catering to customers in Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Cochin, Coimbatore, and Kolkata. Raanro anticipates closing the current financial year with an estimated revenue of around Rs 14–15 crore, fuelled by the increasing need for tailored children’s spaces among urban households. Additionally, the company plans to gradually branch out into various high-end home décor segments.
