RAS Secures $5 Million in Series A Funding

Farm-to-face luxury skincare and personal care brand RAS has successfully raised $5 million in its Series A funding round, which was spearheaded by Unilever’s investment division, Unilever Ventures. This funding round also included contributions from the Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund.

Earlier, in April 2023, RAS garnered $1.5 million during its pre-Series A funding from Green Frontier Capital, a venture capital firm based in New York that focuses on climate change and sustainability.

Company Overview

Founded by Shubhika Jain, Sangeeta Jain, and Suramya Jain, RAS provides beauty and skincare products formulated with natural ingredients supported by robust scientific research. These products are created at the company’s own vertically integrated research facility and farms located in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The company currently operates two EBOs, with plans to establish an additional 50 EBOs across India over the next three years.

Future Growth Projections

Post-funding, RAS aims to expand its offline retail presence significantly, anticipating that offline sales will contribute to 25% of revenue over the next four years. Moreover, the company is also poised for growth within the HORECA segment.
