NORI: Women-Centric Travel Gear Brand Raises $350K

Bengaluru-based NORI, a travel gear brand focused on women’s needs, has successfully raised $350K in a pre-seed funding round led by Rebalance. Additional contributions came from Vijay Shekhar Sharma, VSS Investco, and various angel investors. The newly acquired funds will enable NORI to expand its product offerings and enhance its visibility both digitally and offline, as stated in a recent press release.

NORI’s Origin and Mission

Founded in 2025 by Meenakshi Vyas and Rashika Nayak, NORI specialises in creating luggage, bags, packing cubes, and travel organisers specifically designed for how women travel. In a rapidly growing travel market in India, women—especially those travelling solo or for business—are becoming one of the fastest expanding consumer demographics. However, travel gear typically caters to generic use cases, frequently ignoring the distinct packing and travelling habits of women.

Latest Product Launch: The Carry On Wheelie

NORI’s latest product, the Carry On Wheelie, is designed with women’s actual packing and travelling practices in mind. It offers improved organisation, ergonomic features, and a feminine design aesthetic. The brand’s range of organisers, which played a crucial role in its initial success, adheres to the same thoughtful product philosophy.

Impressive Market Performance

Since its launch, NORI has serviced over 4,000 customers and is on track for an annual revenue run rate of Rs 2 crore. Internal metrics indicate an NPS exceeding 9 and a 20% repeat purchase rate within a 60-day period. These early indicators are unusual for Indian direct-to-consumer brands at this stage, highlighting a significant market opportunity.
