Recykal Investment in Bioenergy: A Step Towards Circular Economy

Circular economy company Recykal has executed a strategic investment amounting to Rs 10 crore in Walbha Industries, a manufacturer of biomass briquettes and pellets. This investment is a significant step for Recykal as it ventures into the bioenergy value chain, extending its focus from merely waste management to include biomass-based industrial fuel.

Connecting Brands with Biomass Fuel

The collaboration seeks to link Walbha’s biomass production with Recykal’s extensive network, which encompasses over 620 brands and manufacturers. This partnership is intended to create a robust demand channel for biomass fuel.

Enhancing Supply Chain Efficiency

Walbha will benefit by gaining access to Recykal’s technological platform, which will aid in digitising and streamlining its supply chain operations. Moreover, Recykal’s enterprise customers will have access to verified biomass fuel, promoting a reliable sourcing mechanism within the industry.

Expanding Operations in South India

This investment also aims to facilitate Walbha’s expansion into South India, enhancing its operational footprint and market reach.
