Refurbished Electronics with ReFit Global Secures $1 Million in Funding

Refurbished Electronics Hub ReFit Global Raises $1 Million

Refurbished electronics platform ReFit Global has successfully secured $1 million in seed funding from a family office based in the UAE. The company also gained national attention when it was featured on Shark Tank India Season 3. The new investment will facilitate the expansion of its retail presence, enhance refurbishment capabilities, invest in technological infrastructure, and establish a cohesive omnichannel platform, as stated in a press release by ReFit Global.

Founded in 2018 by Saket Saurav and Avneet Singh, ReFit Global engages in refurbishment, distribution, retail, and various consumer channels related to electronics. The aim of the company is to create a comprehensive ecosystem for refurbished electronics by integrating technology, refurbishment capabilities, distribution frameworks, and an omnichannel retail strategy.

Extensive Distribution Network of ReFit Global

The Delhi-based enterprise boasts a distribution network comprising over 75 distributors, more than 2,000 wholesalers, and upwards of 50,000 retail outlets spanning India. This extensive network provides ReFit with reach in both metropolitan areas and Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities.

Physical Retail Expansion and Online Presence

Refit Global has further extended its physical retail footprint with 12 ReFit Xpress outlets, complementing its B2B distribution framework. The company’s operations cover online marketplaces, offline retail, and brand collaborations, including partnerships with Flipkart and Amazon, among other offline and strategic channels.

Future Initiatives in Refurbished Electronics

Refit Global has plans to broaden its B2B and D2C initiatives throughout the refurbished electronics value chain. Currently, the company reports a refurbishment yield of 92% along with repair capabilities reaching L4, inclusive of advanced chip-level repairs.

The technological processes at ReFit encompass device diagnostics, automated quality assessments, grading, post-quality-control procedures, and inventory management. These capabilities aim to enhance consistency, operational transparency, and reliability across refurbished devices.

In H1 2026, the refurbished smartphone market in India experienced a year-on-year growth of 13%, with the organised segment comprising around 20% of the total market, suggesting a potential for further formalisation. Startups such as Cashify, ControlZ, GREST, and Budli are actively contributing to the organised re-commerce landscape through certified devices, warranties, trade-ins, and direct-to-consumer strategies. Earlier this year, Vingo secured Rs 10 crore in seed funding led by IndiaQuotient. Additionally, Yaantra, another player in electronics re-commerce, was acquired by Flipkart to bolster its refurbishment capabilities.
