Ringg AI Secures $10 Million in Funding for AI Voice Solutions

Bengaluru-based AI venture Ringg AI has successfully secured $10 million in an extended Series A financing round, led by Peak XV Partners, alongside contributions from Arkam Ventures and Capital 2b. This latest financial influx builds on the earlier $5.5 million raised in January this year, making the total funding for the round $15.5 million. The newly acquired capital will be utilised to enhance Ringg’s AI platform, broaden its offerings in voice, WhatsApp, and browser-based agents, intensify investments in its proprietary AI models and context graph, and speed up enterprise market entry efforts both in India and abroad.

About Ringg AI

Founded by Siddharth Tripathi, Utkarsh Shukla, and Kali Charan Vemuru, Ringg develops AI voice agents specifically for businesses. Initially, the startup began as a text-to-speech firm known as DesiVocal but shifted its focus to enterprise voice AI due to challenges in sustaining the costs of developing speech models.

Current Operations and Clientele

Currently, Ringg manages approximately 20 million call attempts each month and boasts a diverse customer base that includes notable companies such as Flipkart, Practo, Groww, Supernova, Goodscore, and PolicyBazaar. Its voice agents facilitate various applications, including outbound calls, lead qualification, and loan recovery.

Expanding Services and Capabilities

The company is now venturing into more advanced workflows, such as healthcare appointment bookings, e-commerce cart recovery efforts, and fintech onboarding as well as KYC processes. Its voice agents are already in operation at 1,200 Practo clinics, assisting patients in scheduling appointments and providing follow-up after visits.

While over 70% of Ringg’s business revolves around voice calls, the startup is actively diversifying into chat, WhatsApp, and browser-based support solutions. The aim is to create a comprehensive AI agent platform capable of completing business tasks beyond merely managing enterprise phone calls.
