Rotoris: Leading the Way in Analog Watches Secures $3 Million in Seed Funding
Rotoris, an innovative analog watch startup, has successfully raised $3 million in a seed funding round. This funding was led by Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Zerodha, along with actor-investor Vivek Anand Oberoi, Venture Catalysts, 100 Unicorns, and Tanmay Bhat. The round attracted contributions from more than 30 founders including Varun Alagh from Mamaearth, Gaurav Khatri of Noise, Siddharth Dungarwal of Snitch, Nitin Jain from OfBusiness, Vishesh Khurana of Shiprocket, Chirag Taneja from GoKwik, Akash Gupta of Zypp, and Arjun Vaidya from Dr. Vaidya’s.
Utilisation of Funds
The funds raised will be directed towards enhancing manufacturing and assembly operations. It will also support upgrades to engineering processes, expansion of supply chain partnerships, building initial inventory, and hiring for various roles across product, design, and branding teams. In addition, Rotoris intends to launch its inaugural physical experience store in New Delhi, designed to serve as both a retail space and a showcase for the brand.
Company Background
Founded by Aakash Anand, Prerna Gupta, Anant Narula, and Kunal Kapania, Rotoris is establishing its reputation as an engineering-led analog watch brand with a strong emphasis on mechanical movements and in-house assembly. Anand previously achieved significant success with the fragrance brand Bella Vita Organic.
Upcoming Launch and Collections
Rotoris aims to officially launch in January 2026, offering five collections: Auriqua, Monarch, Astonia, Arvion, and Manifesta. Each watch will incorporate premium features such as sapphire crystal, automatic and quartz movements, and robust 316L stainless steel cases. The company has stated that each model will be distinctively numbered and limited in production.
