Fintech company Navi has successfully completed a Rs 940 crore funding round, spearheaded by Prosus, bringing its total valuation to Rs 13,192 crore. The company’s founder, Sachin Bansal, continues to maintain the largest ownership share, holding an 84.34% stake.

Based on regulatory documentation reviewed by Startup Superb, Navi has issued 23,94,29,444 compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) at an issue price of Rs 39.26 per share, resulting in the total funds raised of approximately Rs 940 crore. Prosus Ventures, via its subsidiary MIH Payments Holdings B.V., was the only investor during this funding round.

Startup Superb estimates indicate that Navi’s valuation has surged more than threefold from Rs 4,260 crore in its earlier funding round conducted in April 2020. The company intends to utilise the equity capital to bolster business growth, invest in subsidiaries, and meet general corporate requirements, consistent with the strategic business plan established with the investor.

Established by Sachin Bansal, a co-founder of Flipkart, Navi operates in multiple sectors including lending, insurance, mutual funds, and UPI payments. In March 2026, Navi expanded its insurance offerings by introducing motor insurance.

Furthermore, in February 2025, the company appointed Rajiv Naresh as CEO of Navi Technologies and Abhishek Dwivedi as CEO of Navi Finserv. Bansal transitioned to the position of executive chairman of the Navi Group.

Following this recent share allotment, Prosus Ventures has become Navi’s largest external investor, holding an 8.59% stake. Paresh Sukthankar, the former deputy managing director of HDFC Bank, and Sangeeta Sukthankar together hold a 0.21% ownership, while Anand Rao, a co-founder of Navi Finserv, possesses a 0.08% stake. Among the founding members, Bansal retains the predominant stake at 84.34%, with co-founder and CFO Ankit Agarwal owning 0.85%.

In addition, according to media sources, Navi is currently negotiating to secure $40 million from Elevation Capital.
