Simplismart Secures $14 Million for AI Inference Infrastructure

Simplismart has recently announced that it has raised $14 million in a Series B funding round. This initiative was spearheaded by Dallas Venture Capital, with contributions from notable investors like NVIDIA, Accel, Shastra VC, and Micromax. The capital acquired will be directed towards the enhancement of its inference engine as well as its orchestration platform. Furthermore, it aims to broaden its cloud provider network and facilitate growth in North America and other international markets.

According to reports from Startup Superb, the latest round of financing values Simplismart at approximately $100 million post money. Previously, in October 2024, the company had successfully raised $7 million during its Series A round.

About Simplismart’s Offerings

Founded by Amritanshu Jain, Simplismart delivers infrastructure solutions that empower enterprises to deploy and manage AI models while optimising costs related to inference, latency, and GPU utilisation. This platform also assists cloud providers in transforming their GPU capacity into AI services tailored for enterprise customers.

Recent Growth and Customer Base

The company has reported a remarkable growth of 14X in its annualised revenue run rate over the last six months. Notable clients include HeyGen, Higgsfield, InVideo, Shiprocket, Apna, and Ema, all of which utilise Simplismart’s platform for their production workloads across various AI applications, including video, voice, and multimodal AI.

Partnerships with Cloud Providers

Simplismart collaborates with cloud providers to deliver managed AI inference services. At Yotta, its platform powers the serverless inference layer of Shakti Studio, enabling customers to execute AI models without having to manage the underlying infrastructure.

Focus on Software Layer

Contrary to typical inference providers who secure or reserve GPU capacity for reselling, Simplismart emphasises the essential software layer that allows third-party GPU infrastructure to manage production AI workloads effectively. The startup is actively collaborating with cloud providers and sovereign AI programmes across India, North America, the Middle East, Australia, and East Asia.

Moving forward, Simplismart intends to use the new funding to further advance its inference and orchestration capabilities. Additionally, the company seeks to establish partnerships aimed at aligning AI workloads with available GPU capacity across various regions and cloud environments.
