WeRize has announced the attainment of $7 million in a pre-Series C funding round led by Sony Innovation Fund, with backing from 3one4 Capital. Consequently, the total equity capital accumulated by WeRize since its foundation has surpassed $28 million. The startup called Superb exclusively revealed this when WeRize was poised to gather Rs 64 crore (approximately $6.9 million) in March of this year. The most recent funding round occurred in June 2022, during which the firm received $15.5 million at a valuation of $115 million, from British International Investment, Sony Innovation Fund, and other existing investors.
The newly acquired funds will be allocated towards enhancing investments in its proprietary AI and technology framework, as well as diversifying into investment offerings such as mutual funds, online bonds, secured co-branded credit cards, and housing loans, as stated in a press release from WeRize.

WeRize reports an annualised gross revenue rate of $65 million, with a net revenue run rate of $32 million and an EBITDA run rate of $15 million. Its annualised pre-tax profit run rate exceeds $7 million, with projections indicating a 2-3x profit growth in the upcoming twelve months. Following more than double growth in FY24, WeRize has maintained robust scale in the fiscal year concluding in March 2025. Simultaneously, net profits have also seen a doubling. Revenue from operations experienced a significant increase of 64%, rising to Rs 236 crore in FY25 from Rs 144 crore in FY24, as evidenced by its consolidated financial statements obtained from the Registrar of Companies.
