Biswas will continue his reporting line to co-founder Rahul Chari. Reflecting on his new position, Srijon Biswas expressed his honour in assuming the role of CTO at such a transformative phase for PhonePe. Rahul Chari’s New Role

As part of the recent leadership restructuring, co-founder Rahul Chari will transition into the position of Chief Product and Technology Officer. He will not only supervise the technology and product sectors but also manage trust and safety, data science and analytics, customer experience, and other key strategic initiatives across the PhonePe Group.

As of April 2026, PhonePe has achieved a remarkable milestone, boasting over 70 crore registered users and a digital payments network that encompasses more than 5 crore merchants.
