Stanza Living Secures Rs 282.76 Crore in Series B Funding
Stanza Living, a managed accommodation provider, is set to secure Rs 282.76 crore (around $32 million) in its Series B funding round. This round is spearheaded by existing investor Accel, along with contributions from Motilal Oswal. Previously, in August 2025, Stanza Living raised Rs 60 crore in debt financing from Alteria Capital and Innoven Capital. This debt infusion was reported exclusively by Startup Superb.
The board of Stanza Living approved the issuance of 5,313 Series E Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) at an issue price of Rs 5,32,205.8 each to raise the aforementioned amount, as indicated in its regulatory filing available from the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
Funding Details and Participation
Accel has led this funding round with an investment of Rs 222.78 crore ($25.3 million), while Motilal Oswal is set to contribute Rs 60 crore ($6.8 million) to join the company’s capital structure. Stanza Living has already secured funds from Accel, and the funds from Motilal Oswal are anticipated shortly.
Valuation Changes and Historical Fundraising
As per estimates from Startup Superb, there has been a decline of roughly 28% in Stanza Living’s valuation, which is now around Rs 2,812 crore ($320 million). This is a significant drop from its earlier valuation of Rs 3,900 crore post its $13 million raise in May last year.
Founded in 2017, Stanza Living operates as a managed accommodation platform, offering convenient housing solutions tailored for students and young professionals moving to new cities. This Delhi-based startup claims to manage over 75,000 beds across 24 cities in India.
Before this funding round, Stanza Living has raised over $240 million through various debt and equity rounds, with participation from investors such as Alpha Wave, Peak XV Partners, Accel, and Z47, according to data from startup intelligence sources.
Financial Performance
The Accel-backed company has not yet filed its FY25 financial results. In FY24, Stanza Living reported an operating revenue of Rs 584 crore and managed to reduce its losses by 45%, resulting in a loss of Rs 273 crore for the year.
