According to Tata Sons’ annual report, Tata 1mg’s consolidated revenue increased by 23%, reaching Rs 2,936 crore in FY26, up from Rs 2,392 crore in FY25.

Tata 1mg serves as a healthtech platform where users can conveniently purchase allopathic, ayurvedic, and homeopathic medicines, alongside vitamins, nutritional supplements, and other healthcare products online. The platform extends its services to include diagnostics and various healthcare offerings.

Revenue Breakdown of Tata 1mg

The company derives its revenue from two primary entities: Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions Private Limited, contributing Rs 2,440 crore, and Tata 1mg Technologies Private Limited, which added Rs 496 crore. Collectively, these entities achieved a total revenue of Rs 2,936 crore in FY26.

Profit and Loss Overview

On the profitability front, Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions reported a loss of Rs 310 crore, whereas Tata 1mg Technologies achieved a net profit of Rs 23 crore. When combined, Tata 1mg incurred a net loss of Rs 287 crore in FY26.

Asset and Liability Details

By the close of FY26, the total assets of the combined Tata 1mg entities were valued at Rs 2,268 crore. Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions accounted for Rs 805 crore, while Tata 1mg Technologies held assets amounting to Rs 1,463 crore.

The total liabilities for the combined entities reached Rs 1,601 crore, which included Rs 1,509 crore from Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions and Rs 92 crore from Tata 1mg Technologies. Furthermore, there was a negative reserves and surplus balance of Rs 167 crore reported, with Tata 1mg Healthcare Solutions showing a negative balance of Rs 1,538 crore, and Tata 1mg Technologies reporting a positive balance of Rs 1,371 crore.

Market Competition

In the online healthcare market, Tata 1mg faces competition from Reliance-backed Netmeds, PharmEasy, and Apollo 24/7. Tata Digital acquired a majority stake in 1mg in June 2021, aiming to establish a digital ecosystem that encompasses grocery, electronics, healthcare, financial services, and payment solutions.

Tata Digital Financial Performance

At the group level, Tata Digital’s revenue saw a 12% growth, increasing to Rs 35,990 crore in FY26 from Rs 32,188 crore in FY25. However, the net loss expanded to Rs 4,974 crore from Rs 4,610 crore during the same timeframe. The company reported a gross merchandise value (GMV) of Rs 46,515 crore in FY26.
