The Dough Therapy: Gourmet Pizza Brand Secures Funding
Gourmet pizza brand The Dough Therapy has successfully raised Rs 5.25 crore, achieving a valuation of Rs 35 crore in a recent seed funding round. This round was led by Michigan Capital Advisors, previously known as Melwani Finance, with additional support from Equiglobe Investment. The new capital will enable The Dough Therapy to enhance its presence in Mumbai and advance its multi-market growth strategy.
According to a press release from The Dough Therapy, 60% of the total funds will be dedicated to expansion efforts, 15% will go towards marketing initiatives, and the remaining 25% will be invested in supply chain infrastructure, centralised operations, and kitchen technology.

Founded in 2020 by Abhishek Dedhia, Mohit Chheda, and Gaurav Majrekar, The Dough Therapy has expanded from a single outlet to a total of 10 outlets throughout Mumbai. The gourmet pizza brand impressively offers over 30 varieties of vegetarian and vegan pizzas.
The Dough Therapy has successfully cultivated a strong base of both new and returning customers, laying the groundwork for its next expansion phase. Over the next 12 months, the brand aims to increase its outlet count to 20, while also planning to introduce its gourmet pizza offerings in new cities across India.
