TimBuckDo Secures Bridge Funding for Expansion
TimBuckDo, an on-demand convenience platform, has successfully completed a bridge funding round, achieving a post-money valuation of Rs 150 crore. This funding was primarily supported by Srinath Setty through his family office, Trasa Ventures, and Adarsh Narahari.
Located in Bengaluru, the startup is gearing up to initiate its Series A fundraising in the following months, as outlined in a recent press release from TimBuckDo. Previously, the company had raised approximately Rs 6.6 crore in a seed round last year, with contributions from investors including Nandkishore Kalambi, Morton Meyerson, Arjun Vaidya, Anupam Bansal, Sandesh Sharda, Rukam Capital, IDEABAAZ, its founders, and TurboStart.
The newly acquired funds will facilitate the company’s next growth phase as it prepares for its Series A round.
About TimBuckDo
Established in 2022 by Mythri Kumar and Apoorv Sharma Prasad, TimBuckDo is developing an on-demand convenience marketplace that utilises verified college students, referred to as “Doers.” This platform offers a link between households and businesses with students for a variety of services, such as elder companionship, pet care, child support, home business assistance, and other daily needs.
Focus on Student Opportunities
TimBuckDo is committed to providing flexible earning opportunities for college students, allowing them to balance work and education. The company aims to achieve around Rs 400 crore in gross revenue and over 10,000 household orders per day throughout India within the next three years.
Investor Interest in On-Demand Convenience
The on-demand convenience sector is attracting notable investor attention. For instance, Pronto raised $25 million during its Series B round in March to enhance its household-help platform, while AI concierge startup Hulp secured $2.6 million in a seed round in August to offer human-assisted assistance for household and lifestyle tasks.
