TrucksUp: Pioneering the Future of Logistics with AI Technology

TrucksUp has successfully raised $8.2 million in a funding round, achieving a post-money valuation of $42.3 million. This funding was backed by institutional investors, family offices, and co-founders Sarthak Shah Elwadhi and Aviraj Singh Chadha, who have notably increased their involvement in the company. The newly acquired funds will be allocated towards scaling its technology and fleet solutions, as confirmed in a recent press release by TrucksUp.

About TrucksUp and Its Mission

Founded in 2022 by Sarthak Shah Elwadhi and Aviraj Singh Chadha, TrucksUp is an AI-driven digital freight marketplace and logistics platform designed to address the demand-supply gap prevalent in India’s traditional trucking sector. The platform effectively links truck owners, fleet operators, and drivers directly with businesses in need of freight services.

Innovative Features and Services

As per the startup based in Gurugram, its advanced AI algorithms facilitate real-time matching of available trucks with verified loads, significantly reducing reverse-loading wait times. Furthermore, TrucksUp provides an integrated dashboard that enables real-time GPS tracking, digital document management, and efficient shipment monitoring.

Comprehensive Support Programs

TrucksUp also offers FASTag solutions, intelligent fuel programmes, insurance assistance, and options for vehicle financing. Additionally, it supports the buying and selling of both new and pre-owned commercial vehicles. The startup is actively involved in safety initiatives and health check-up camps, along with providing access to its “Apna Ghar” network, strategically located along major corridors for secure parking and resting.

Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives

The company has established collaborations with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Indian Highways Management Company Ltd (IHMCL) to facilitate real-time driver feedback and road updates. In addition, TrucksUp has formed a strategic alliance aimed at delivering vehicle financing and capital access to transporters and fleet operators situated in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Investor Interest in AI-Driven Logistics

This funding round arrives amidst a significant rise in investor interest surrounding AI-led logistics and freight technology. For instance, FreightFox recently raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-Series A round, led by HighLeaf, to expand its platform and market presence. Similarly, Mojro Technologies secured $5.5 million in Series A funding to accelerate its product innovation and global expansion.
