The newly added cities consist of Jammu, Tirunelveli, Silchar, and Jamnagar, among others. Uber Bike provides two-wheeler rides, making it ideal for short-distance travel and enhancing first and last-mile connectivity.

The expansion effort aligns with Uber’s approach to solidify its operations beyond major metropolitan areas and to develop a comprehensive multimodal mobility solution in India. The platform currently facilitates bike rides, auto services, car transportation, airport rides, and intercity journeys.

According to Uber, this latest expansion is expected to create flexible earning opportunities for numerous local drivers. The company reports that over 2 million individuals across India generate income via its platform.
