Uniphore Secures $260 Million in Series F Funding for Enhanced Conversational Automation
Conversational automation leader Uniphore has successfully secured $260 million in its Series F funding round, attracting investments from prominent firms such as NVIDIA, AMD, Snowflake, and Databricks, alongside existing investors NEA and March Capital. The valuation of the company was consistent with its previous funding round in February 2022, during which it raised $400 million at a valuation of $2.5 billion.
The company announced that the funds will be allocated to broaden platform capabilities, strengthen alliances, and expedite global initiatives across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia. Uniphore also intends to pursue acquisitions like Orby AI and Autonom8 to enhance its automation and data expertise.
Established in 2008, Uniphore delivers an enterprise AI platform that seamlessly connects systems of record, knowledge, and workflows. Its Business AI Cloud empowers organizations to implement AI agents and streamline operations while ensuring data and governance control.
More than 2,000 enterprises, including numerous Fortune 500 companies, utilise the platform. Clients leverage Uniphore’s technology to automate various functions including customer support, human resources processes, and supply chain workflows. The company reports notable efficiency enhancements, claiming a 31% increase in self-service rates and 500 hours saved monthly in support operations.
Uniphore’s business model centres on subscription-based software and AI deployment services aimed at enterprises. It competes with other players in the enterprise automation and conversational AI landscape, including Observe.AI, Kore.ai, and Cognigy.
Earlier this August, Uniphore finalised the acquisition of Orby AI Inc. and Autonom8 Inc. for an undisclosed sum. Additionally, in December of the previous year, the company acquired two data firms, ActionIQ and Infoworks.
