D2C fashion startup UniqYou has successfully raised Rs 15.8 crore during a seed funding round, which was led by Arkam Ventures and Antler. This funding round also attracted a number of angel investors.

The board at UniqYou has sanctioned the issuance of 37,487 CCPS at an issue price of Rs 4,215 per share, aiming to secure the substantial amount mentioned above, according to the company’s regulatory filings.

Arkam Ventures contributed Rs 9.3 crore to this funding round, with Antler investing Rs 4.96 crore. Notable angel investors, including Ankit Garg, who infused Rs 1 crore, along with Abhishek Goyal, Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Raveen Sastry, and Nandita Sinha, also participated in this round.

A report from Moneycontrol previously indicated that UniqYou was negotiating to raise around Rs 12 crore (approximately $1.3 million) in this funding round.

Stake Distribution After Funding

Following the allotment, Arkam Ventures will possess a 14.93% stake in UniqYou, whereas Antler will hold 7.96%. Investors Abhishek Goyal and Chaitanya Ramalingegowda will control stakes of 1.59% and 0.24%, respectively.

Company Valuation and Purpose of Funds

According to estimates from Startup Superb, the company’s valuation stands at approximately Rs 64 crore (nearly $6.8 million) after this investment. The fresh funds will address the company’s working capital requirements and other general corporate needs, as stated in the filings.

Recently, the D2C fashion brand Theater managed to collect Rs 75 crore in a Series A round, guided by Niveshaay.
