Bengaluru-based children’s technology startup Wippi has successfully raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round, spearheaded by 12 Flags. Other participants included Warmup Ventures, Ventana Ventures, and Ruvento Ventures. The newly acquired funds are earmarked for advancing its voice AI capabilities, expanding its engineering and AI teams, increasing manufacturing operations in India, and growing its direct-to-consumer segment. Wippi also intends to broaden its characters, languages, and original content offerings.

About Wippi and Its Unique Products

Founded by Rishabh Singhi and Siddhartha Jain, Wippi is dedicated to creating screen-free products that incorporate conversational voice AI, storytelling, and interactive play specifically designed for children. The company’s product lineup features Character Cards, illustrated storybooks, and Wippi Radio.

Interactive Experiences Through Voice AI

Wippi’s voice AI allows children to interact with beloved characters such as Ram, Krishna, Alice, Cinderella, and Aladdin. Children are encouraged to ask questions, make choices, and engage with the stories. The company has designed its products to cater to children aged four years and older.

Future Goals and Expansion Plans

The startup aims to reach 15,000 families within the next 12 months and is also planning to venture into international markets. In addition to expanding its existing offerings, Wippi is working on collectible figurines and new AI-driven conversational learning products.
