Yuvraj Singh Joins UN:BLOC as Investor in Innovative Healthcare Venture

Cricketer Yuvraj Singh has partnered with UN:BLOC, a fresh healthcare initiative launched by serial entrepreneur Deepak Sahni, taking on the role of an investor and a member of its founding team. This marks their second collaboration in building a company. Previously, Yuvraj was one of the initial supporters of Sahni’s former enterprise, Healthians, which evolved into one of India’s leading at-home diagnostics networks.

UN:BLOC is currently operating in stealth mode, with its business model and product yet to be disclosed. The startup is engaged in preliminary discussions with a select group of individuals closely associated with Sahni from the healthcare and business sectors, some of whom are anticipated to participate in the pre-launch funding round in the upcoming weeks.

Headquartered in Gurugram and led by Deepak Sahni, UN:BLOC is in its pre-launch stage. According to the company, it aspires to tackle enduring challenges in healthcare by concentrating on areas that have traditionally received less attention.

Over the past decade, Indian cricketers have significantly transitioned from brand ambassadors to startup investors. More than 20 current and former Indian cricketers have made investments across various sectors, including fintech, healthtech, direct-to-consumer brands, fitness, gaming, electric vehicles, sports technology, and consumer products.

Virat Kohli has established one of the largest startup investment portfolios among Indian athletes, whilst Yuvraj Singh has facilitated investments through YouWeCan Ventures. Recently, cricketers such as MS Dhoni, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya have also invested in the gaming startup LightFury Games.
