Fashion-Tech Startup ZILO Secures $4.5 Million in Seed Funding
Fashion-tech startup ZILO has successfully raised $4.5 million in seed funding, with leadership from Info Edge Ventures and Chiratae Ventures. This funding is intended to help ZILO achieve product-market alignment, enhance its hybrid supply chain, foster brand collaborations, and expand its presence beyond Mumbai to other major Indian cities within the year.
Founders and Offerings
Founded by Padmakumar Pal, who previously served as VP at Flipkart and Myntra, alongside Bhavik Jhaveri, an experienced entrepreneur, ZILO provides rapid delivery of fashion products from a wide selection of over 250 brands, including Levi’s, Puma, United Colors of Benetton, and The Souled Store.
Customer Benefits
According to ZILO, customers benefit from receiving their orders in less than 60 minutes, allowing them to try on items at home and return any unwanted products instantaneously. ZILO operates through dark stores and brand outlets to fulfil local orders, promising customers only fresh and in-season products.
Future Plans
ZILO plans to stock nearly 100,000 styles and aims to diversify into categories such as footwear and accessories by the festive season. In the competitive landscape, fashion delivery startup Slikk has recently secured $10 million in funding, while Myntra has expanded its rapid apparel delivery service, initially launched in December 2024, to additional cities.
