Auxilo Achieves Revenue Growth and Stability in FY26

Auxilo, a prominent education-focused NBFC, marked a significant milestone by surpassing Rs 500 crore in revenue during FY25. The company maintained its growth trajectory with a 28% increase in revenue year-on-year for the fiscal year ending March 2026. Despite facing increased finance and employee costs, the net profit remained relatively stable at Rs 117 crore.

The revenue from operations rose to Rs 676 crore in FY26, up from Rs 528 crore in FY25, as indicated by the consolidated financial statements submitted to the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Based in Mumbai, Auxilo provides educational loans to students seeking higher education in India and overseas, covering expenses like tuition fees, pre-visa costs, travel, and various other education-related expenditures.

Revenue Sources and Financial Performance

Interest income serves as Auxilo’s principal revenue stream, contributing Rs 610 crore in FY26, which represents a 28% increase from Rs 477.5 crore in FY25. However, income from fees and commissions saw a decline of 13%, coming in at Rs 32.4 crore for the year.

The company also recorded net gains of Rs 21.3 crore from fair value changes and Rs 14 crore from non-operating activities, resulting in total income of Rs 690 crore in FY26, compared to Rs 544 crore in FY25.

Expenditure Breakdown

For Auxilo, finance costs constituted the largest portion of expenditures, climbing 36% to Rs 384.7 crore from Rs 282.2 crore in FY25. Employee benefit expenses surged by 47% to Rs 82.5 crore during the year.

Additional expenses, including IT costs, advertising, business sourcing, and legal and professional fees, boosted Auxilo’s overall expenditures by 35%, totaling Rs 533 crore in FY26, compared to Rs 394 crore the previous fiscal year.

Profitability Amid Rising Costs

Despite the upward trend in operating revenue, the increase in finance and employee costs impacted the company’s profitability. Auxilo’s profit after tax edged up to Rs 117 crore in FY26 from Rs 112 crore in FY25.

Liquidity Position

At the conclusion of FY26, the company reported cash and bank balances of Rs 412 crore, a decrease from Rs 544 crore the previous year. Auxilo has successfully raised over $200 million in equity and debt from various sources, including Tata Capital, Balrampur Chini Mills, and ICICI Bank.

In a competitive landscape, Auxilo faces rivals in the education financing sector, including Avanse Financial, Grayquest, Propelld, Financepeer, and Leap Finance.
