TravelLite Essential Series Laptops from Acer

TravelLite Essential Series from Acer has been unveiled in India, featuring a fresh line of laptops tailored for professionals who value mobility, durability, and reliable performance.

This series showcases two configurations, equipped with either the Intel Core i5-1334U or the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U processors, both operating on Windows 11 Home. Each laptop boasts a 14-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display, achieving an 82% screen-to-body ratio and a 180-degree hinge that allows for versatile viewing angles. With a weight of just 1.34 kg, these laptops feature a sturdy metal chassis that merges portability with robustness.

Acer asserts that the TravelLite Essential Series can provide up to eight hours of battery life thanks to its 36Whr 3-cell Li-ion battery, and it supports fast charging capabilities. Additional features include an HD webcam with a privacy shutter, dual stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, HDMI 1.4, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, an RJ45 LAN connection, a microSD card reader, and a 2-in-1 audio combo jack.

Market Positioning and Value

Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer at Acer India, stated that this series is aimed at small to medium businesses, as well as enterprise users who are searching for value-focused devices without sacrificing build quality. He noted that despite its competitive pricing, the lineup maintains the premium metal construction characteristic of the TravelLite series.

Performance and Security Features

The laptops come equipped with a spill-resistant keyboard, Firmware Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 for enhanced security, and can support up to 1TB PCIe SSD storage along with 32GB DDR4 RAM. Integrated graphics are included, making them suitable for business applications and everyday productivity tasks.

Offered in an Obsidian Black finish, the TravelLite Essential Series will be available through Acer’s exclusive stores, authorized resellers, and the company’s online shop. The starting price is ₹32,999.
