Adobe Expands in India: Innovations and Collaborations for the Creative Economy

Adobe has boldly expanded its presence and partnerships in India, aligning with the government’s “Create in India, Create for the World” initiative. The company unveiled a range of collaborations with educational institutions and private enterprises at the inaugural World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES), along with plans for a new campus in Noida by early 2026.

Adobe’s Vision for India’s Creative Economy

Abhigyan Modi, Adobe’s India Country Manager and SVP of Document Cloud, remarked that India is a global powerhouse of innovation and creativity. He expressed appreciation for the Government of India and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for uniting leaders, creators, investors, and innovators. He stated that Adobe is eager to enhance its support for India’s creator economy through its world-leading technology and localised initiatives.

Partnerships to Foster Innovation

Adobe has teamed up with Tata Consultancy Services to introduce an AI-powered Creative Experience Studio (ACES), designed to provide culturally relevant content and personalised marketing campaigns. The company has also partnered with the Indian Institute of Creative Technology to grant students access to Adobe Creative Cloud and to invest in curriculum and faculty enhancement.

Support for Design Education

An MoU with Accenture is set to benefit over 50 design institutes across India by providing training, internships, and creative learning hubs in government schools under the PM SHRI scheme.

New Noida Campus and Localised Tools

With a workforce of more than 8,500 employees in India and a significant office in Bengaluru, Adobe stated that the upcoming Noida facility will serve as a crucial hub for its global operations. The firm is also extending its support for India’s creative workforce through tools such as Adobe Express, which now accommodates eight Indian languages and will introduce 1 million new localised templates tailored for Indian creators.

Technological Advancement in India

Modi noted that India has emerged as a breeding ground for the transformative power of technology, excelling in areas such as mobile, digital payments, cloud computing, and AI. He added that with an AI-enabled workforce, India is well-positioned at the forefront of this global evolution.

Collaborating with Government Initiatives

Furthermore, Adobe plans to work with WAVES Bazaar—the government’s global e-marketplace—to provide discounted Creative Cloud subscriptions to Indian sellers and to offer top talent access to Adobe’s tools from its Creatosphere challenge.

Investment in Education and New Innovations

Beyond corporate partnerships, Adobe is collaborating with the Ministry of Education to equip schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and Army Public Schools with Adobe Express and training in AI and digital creativity, all at no cost.

Innovative Tools for Digital Creators

Among Adobe’s latest innovations are the Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra, Firefly Video Model, and an upcoming Firefly app. Additionally, the company is currently beta testing a Content Authenticity app that securely links digital credentials to creators’ works, reinforcing transparency in digital content.
