Prior to his role at Anthropic, Boyd spent over 16 years at Microsoft, where he reported to executive vice president Jay Parikh and managed a team of approximately 1,500 individuals. Boyd also held senior positions at Yahoo before joining Microsoft.

This new addition to the staff comes at a pivotal time for Anthropic, which has recently announced substantial growth. A current report from the company indicates that its revenue skyrocketed from around $9 billion to $30 billion by the end of 2025.
