Nothing Ear 3: The Upcoming Flagship Wireless Earphones
The Nothing Ear 3 will be the next flagship wireless earphones from Nothing, officially set to launch on 18 September 2025. This model represents the company’s fourth entry into the premium earbuds category.
Continuing the Legacy of Nothing Ear
Unlike the previous model, which was simply called “Nothing Ear,” the new release reintroduces the numbered naming convention first established with the Ear 1 and Ear 2. This change signals a thoughtful progression in their product line.
Signature Design Elements
A teaser from the London-based tech company suggests the continuation of Nothing’s iconic transparent design, integrated with robust black components. A white variant may also be introduced, reflecting the company’s previous offerings. Historically, Nothing has explored vibrant colours like yellow and orange, but these have mainly appeared in their budget-friendly products. The premium range, such as the newly released Nothing Headphone 1, has predominantly featured black and white aesthetics.
Sound Quality Enhancements
Although specifications remain undisclosed, the company’s collaboration with British audio expert KEF is expected to significantly influence sound quality. This partnership has previously shaped the tuning of other recent products from Nothing.
A Busy Summer for Nothing
The launch of the Ear 3 follows an eventful summer for the company. Recently, they introduced the Nothing Phone 3, touted as their first true flagship smartphone, alongside the Nothing Headphone 1, their inaugural pair of over-ear noise-cancelling headphones.
Availability and Pricing
Currently, the Nothing Ear is priced at ₹8,999 on Flipkart, the official online retail partner for the company. Additionally, Nothing has announced intentions to expand into brick-and-mortar retail later this year, with plans for their first physical store to offer both the existing Ear and the forthcoming Ear 3.
