Apple has officially confirmed that the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 25) will occur from June 9-13. WWDC 25 will begin with the eagerly awaited keynote address on June 9 at 10 am PDT (10.30 pm IST). Apple is expected to reveal substantial updates and revolutionary enhancements across its platforms, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS. Developers and enthusiasts can watch the keynote live via apple.com, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel, with recordings accessible shortly after the event ends.
Platforms State of the Union
After the keynote at 1 p.m. PDT, the Platforms State of the Union will provide an in-depth overview of new tools aimed at supporting developers. This session will outline how these innovations can be utilised across Apple’s ecosystem. Streaming will be available through the Apple Developer app, the website, and the Apple Developer YouTube channel.
Technical Sessions for Developers
WWDC 25 will also showcase more than 100 technical sessions available online, where developers can learn directly from Apple engineers and experts. These sessions will enhance developers’ knowledge of Apple’s latest frameworks and technologies, offering insights to assist them in creating unique and powerful applications and games for Apple devices.
Interactive Opportunities
Throughout the week, developers enlisted in the Apple Developer Program or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program will have the chance for direct engagement with Apple specialists via online group labs and tailored one-on-one sessions. Topics covered will include artificial intelligence, machine learning, Swift programming, graphics and game development, and UI/UX design. Moreover, developers can connect with Apple engineers and designers through the Apple Developer Forums.
Celebrating Swift Student Challenge Winners
Apple will also celebrate 50 exceptional winners of its Swift Student Challenge. These talented students will be invited to an exclusive three-day experience at Apple Park, recognising their achievements and gaining insights into the company’s latest innovations firsthand.
