Nothing Phone 3: Price and Launch Details
Nothing Phone 3, as announced by CEO Carl Pei, is set to release in Q3 2025, specifically between July and September. The company has begun creating anticipation for this upcoming device by teasing the number ‘3’ as a hint to its new model.
CEO Carl Pei has disclosed that the anticipated price of the Nothing Phone 3 will be around £800 (approximately ₹90,000). This marks a significant increase compared to the Nothing Phone 2, which was priced at ₹44,999 in India at launch. Pei referred to the Phone 3 as Nothing’s “first true flagship” during a segment at Google’s The Android Show I/O Edition.
Features of Nothing Phone 3
During the Device Showcase segment, Pei veiled a device that is likely to be the Nothing Phone 3, emphasising that it will incorporate “premium materials” and provide “major performance upgrades.” However, since the phone has not yet been released, the device shown remained blurred.
Given its flagship pricing, the Phone 3 is likely to draw inspiration from existing high-end competitors like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is expected to boast a titanium chassis, improved durability, and utilise advanced chipsets from either MediaTek or Qualcomm.
Nothing’s Commitment to the Phone 3
Pei stated that Nothing is “going all in” on the hardware and software advancements for the Nothing Phone 3, aiming to “level things up” with this upcoming release.
The premium pricing of the Nothing Phone 3 will position it against flagship offerings from Xiaomi, OnePlus, and Vivo, while also contending with high-end models from Apple and Samsung. It will be intriguing to observe how Nothing competes with established flagship brands while maintaining its unique design philosophy and approach to software.
