Dyson Hot+Cool Purifier Range Expands in India
Dyson has introduced two new models to its Hot+Cool purifier series in India: the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP2 De-NOx (HP12) and the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1. Focusing on cleanliness of air and year-round comfort, both models incorporate Dyson’s cutting-edge gas-capture system, specifically designed to address the increasing indoor air pollution during India’s peak pollution periods.
Addressing Indoor Air Pollution in India
As air quality deteriorates in numerous Indian cities, indoor environments are also experiencing increased levels of dangerous pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10). These contaminants can lead to skin, eye, and lung irritation, which may contribute to chronic respiratory problems. The innovative Hot+Cool purifiers by Dyson are intended to mitigate these effects by minimising exposure to fine particles and gases, while also offering precise temperature control throughout the year.
Advanced Features of the Hot+Cool Purifiers
The purifiers are equipped with built-in sensors that recognise airborne pollutants, including dust, allergens, and gases like NO₂. The intelligent system self-adjusts purification processes in real-time, displaying current air quality data on a built-in LCD screen, as well as through the MyDyson app for remote oversight and operation.
Specifications of the HP1 and HP2 De-NOx
The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 uses HEPA H13 and activated carbon filters to trap ultrafine particles and odours. It maintains a fully sealed system that prevents pollutants from re-entering the air. On the other hand, the HP2 De-NOx (HP12) features a new K-Carbon filter that captures 50% more nitrogen dioxide compared to standard carbon filters and effectively breaks down formaldehyde.
Performance and Versatility
Both purifiers leverage Dyson’s Air Multiplier technology to produce over 290 litres of purified airflow each second, effectively circulating clean air across the room with a 350° oscillation. Beyond just purification, the dual-purpose system automatically adjusts to heat or cool the space as required, ensuring a stable indoor temperature all year round.
Convenient Management Options
Users can manage their purifiers through the MyDyson application, allowing them to monitor air quality, schedule operations, and receive maintenance notifications. Both models are also compatible with voice control via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri.
Pricing and Availability
The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP2 De-NOx is priced at ₹68,900 and comes in White/Gold and Nickel/Gold finishes. The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 retails for ₹56,900 in White/Silver and Nickel/Silver options. Both products are available at Dyson outlets throughout India and online at Dyson.in.
