Adobe Transforms the Football Fan Experience with Premier League Partnership

Adobe is revolutionizing the football fan experience through a new alliance with the Premier League. Supporters will have the ability to craft their own team badges and kits using Adobe Express, a simple-to-use content creation app powered by Adobe’s Firefly generative AI.

These functionalities will be integrated directly into the new Fantasy Premier League platform and app for the 2025/26 season. Adobe’s AI will also assist fans in generating images and videos from straightforward prompts, shortening long videos into quick social clips, and even editing their own pictures by adding or removing elements, all aimed at enhancing the engagement and shareability of fan-generated content.

Hyper-Personalised Digital Experience Across Web and App

The partnership seeks to make the Premier League’s digital platforms more tailor-made than ever. By leveraging Adobe’s Experience Platform and a variety of data tools, the League will customize content and updates for individual fans according to their behaviour, location, and interests.

This enhancement means supporters will receive instant push notifications about transfer news or matchday excitement conveyed through the app or website.

Smarter Engagement, On and Off the Pitch

With the assistance of Adobe’s Customer Journey Analytics, the League will acquire deeper insights into how fans engage with digital content, ranging from emails and app interactions to preferences in video content. This data will facilitate more accurate targeting, such as delivering highlight reels of a fan’s favourite player instead of generic match summaries.

Future initiatives may include location-specific messaging for fans entering a stadium or performance-based emails for Fantasy Premier League managers, keeping them competitive throughout the season.

Will Brass, Chief Commercial Officer at the Premier League, remarked that this invigorating partnership equips them with the resources to better understand and meet the digital needs and wants of their fans.

Rachel Thornton, Chief Marketing Officer, Enterprise at Adobe, stated that by harnessing Adobe’s capabilities in the world’s most viewed football league, fans now have innovative AI-enhanced methods to engage and experience significant moments.
