Earlier this week, Google introduced the Personal Intelligence feature within the Gemini app in India, enhancing its capabilities with advanced image generation functionalities. Personal Intelligence now collaborates with Nano Banana 2 and your Google Photos library to produce images that resonate with your individual preferences. These images are uniquely designed to reflect your life and data. Learn about how this feature operates and how to use it effectively.

What is Personal Intelligence in Gemini?
As highlighted in previous reports, Google’s Personal Intelligence features link Gemini with your Google account, granting AI access to essential tools such as Gmail, Photos, and Search to provide highly customised responses. This integration ensures that you receive images and responses that match your interests, behaviours, and context.
Google states, “By weaving this context seamlessly with Nano Banana 2, Gemini can intuitively fill in the gaps, anchoring every creation in aspects you value the most. Since this is integrated into your typical usage of the Gemini app, there is no need for extra setup.”
How to Use Nano Banana in Gemini with Personal Intelligence
Step 1
Open the Gemini app on your Android or iOS device. Ensure you are signed in with your Google account.
Step 2
Activate Personal Intelligence to allow Gemini to connect with Google Photos. This step is crucial for generating personalised outputs.
Step 3
Now, input your image generation request, such as “Design my ideal home using screenshots from Pinterest,” or “Create a travel poster inspired by my last holiday.”
Step 4
Feel free to make edits, remix, or enhance these images, including altering backgrounds or crafting new environments.
Note: Users can also modify lighting, style, or specific details, as the feature supports multi-step editing and adjustments for improved outputs.
The newly introduced personalised image feature within Gemini is being released gradually over the coming days. Currently, it is available exclusively to paid subscribers of Google’s AI packages, namely AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra in the United States. More users will gain access soon, and Google is also planning to roll out this feature for Gemini on Chrome desktops shortly.
