Veo 3 AI Video Generation Model from Google Now Available in India

Veo 3, Google’s cutting-edge AI video generation model, is now available in India. Users can access this innovative tool via the Gemini app and web interface. The rollout extends to all regions where the Gemini app operates, including countries that were previously omitted, such as India, the UK, and various nations within the European Union.

Overview of Veo 3 Launch

Announced at Google I/O in May 2025, Veo 3 stands as the most advanced video generation model released by the tech giant to date. Initially introduced in select markets, including Australia, Japan, and Malaysia, the model is now accessible to Indian users who subscribe to the Google AI Pro plan.

Google AI Pro Subscription Details

Available for ₹1,950 per month, the Google AI Pro subscription had previously been part of the Google One AI Premium plan but has now been rebranded. This subscription offers a one-month free trial and grants access to Veo 3 and numerous other premium features. These include the AI-powered filmmaking app Flow, NotebookLM Plus, Gemini integration within Google Workspace apps, and 2TB of cloud storage across Gmail, Drive, and Photos.

Video Creation Limitations

Users should be aware that there is a limitation on video generation with Veo 3. According to Google, subscribers can create up to ten videos, and currently, there are no options to purchase additional credits or to reset their video creation count.

Advancements in Veo 3

Veo 3 introduces substantial improvements over its predecessor, Veo 2. Enhancements include improved visual fidelity, better consistency in both motion and character animation, and the capability for native audio generation. The model excels in producing ambient soundscapes and realistic voice-like audio, resulting in a more immersive viewing experience. Additionally, it can create clips that are up to eight seconds in length.

Integrations with Other Platforms

Reports indicate that Google is looking to implement deeper integrations of Veo 3 into platforms like YouTube Shorts and Canva, which would allow creators to produce AI-generated clips directly within those environments.
