Hisense Launches UX ULED Series TVs in India

Hisense has unveiled its flagship UX ULED series in India. This innovative range introduces RGB-MiniLED technology to the Indian television market. As highlighted by Hisense India’s CEO, Pankaj Rana, the intention behind the UX series is to revolutionise home entertainment with advanced AI and next-generation display technologies.

Pricing and Availability

The UX ULED series will come in two sizes: 100-inch and 116-inch options. The pricing starts at ₹9,99,999 and extends up to ₹29,99,999 for the 116-inch flagship version. Consumers can expect the TVs to be launched soon on various online platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart, as well as at selected offline retailers.

Key Features and Specifications

The UX series features individual red, green, and blue Mini-LEDs distributed across thousands of dimming zones. This marks a significant upgrade from traditional single-colour LEDs. Consequently, the series boasts an impressive 95% BT.2020 colour coverage and can achieve peak brightness levels of up to 8,000 nits. The televisions are powered by the Hi-View AI Engine X, which optimises picture quality, sound, and energy efficiency in real-time.

To enhance visual performance, the TVs incorporate 3D Colour Master PRO with PANTONE-validated accuracy. They also support HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX Enhanced, and MEMC technology for seamless playback.

In terms of audio, the 6.2.2 channel CineStage X Surround system, developed in collaboration with Devialet, features top-firing speakers and an integrated subwoofer. This system is compatible with WiSA SoundSend and eARC, ensuring high-fidelity wireless audio experiences.

For gaming enthusiasts, the TVs include a native 165Hz Game Mode Ultra with VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to minimise screen tearing. A specially designed Game Bar facilitates real-time management of gaming performance.

The UX series operates on the VIDAA Smart OS, providing quick and secure access to entertainment and supporting 28 languages, including Hindi. This operating system also comes with an eight-year update promise. Additionally, the remote control is solar-powered and can be recharged via USB-C to help reduce the reliance on disposable batteries.
