OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite Launch and Features

OnePlus has officially launched the Nord CE 6 Lite in India on May 12, shortly after its reveal alongside the Nord CE 6 on May 7. While the Nord CE 6 was available from May 8, the Nord CE 6 Lite is now up for grabs as of today.

Return of the Nord CE Lite Series

The Nord CE 6 Lite signifies the comeback of the Nord CE Lite series in the Indian market after a two-year hiatus, succeeding the Nord CE 4 Lite that was introduced in 2024. This smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset, a robust 7,000mAh battery, and it comes in two distinct colour variants.

Display and Performance

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is equipped with a 6.72-inch full-HD display, boasting a 144Hz refresh rate; although, for certain applications, the peak refresh rate is capped. During standard usage, the display operates at a maximum of 120Hz. OnePlus asserts that players can enjoy up to 90 FPS in shooting games and up to 144 FPS in racing games.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset, which utilises a 4nm process, the device also comes with UFS 3.1 storage. OnePlus claims that this phone achieves a score exceeding 1,030,000 on AnTuTu, while a large 5,300 square mm vapour chamber cooling system is included to manage heat during intense usage.

Battery, Camera, and Software

One notable feature of the Nord CE 6 Lite is its impressive 7,000mAh battery. OnePlus states that users can expect up to two days of performance from a single charge. Furthermore, the battery is designed to retain around 80 per cent of its original capacity even after six years of usage. It also supports 45W SUPERVOOC wired charging.

For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP main camera capable of 4K video recording, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor for portrait photography. On the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

In terms of durability, the Nord CE 6 Lite holds a MIL-STD-810H certification and operates on OxygenOS 16, based on the Android operating system. It offers a suite of AI photography features such as AI Perfect Shot, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Detail Boost, AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser and AI Reframe. Motion Photos with 4K support are also included in the features. The device supports Google’s Gemini AI functionalities, including Gemini Live, camera integration and screen-sharing.

Pricing, Offers, and Availability

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is available in three configurations: the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 20,999; the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version is offered at Rs 22,999; and the premium 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variant is set at Rs 25,999.

Customers can also take advantage of an instant bank discount of Rs 2,000, effectively lowering the prices to Rs 18,999, Rs 20,999, and Rs 23,999, respectively.

The smartphone is available in two attractive colour options: Vivid Mint and Hyper Black. Sales commenced on May 12 through Amazon, OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store app, and OnePlus Experience Stores.
