Oppo Reno14 Series Launch Announced for 3 July 2025
Oppo has revealed that the highly anticipated Reno14 Series smartphones will debut on 3 July 2025 at 12pm. This exciting lineup features the Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G alongside the standard Reno 14, designed specifically for travellers and photography aficionados. These models boast an enhanced AI imaging system and advanced zoom functionalities.
Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G Specifications
The Reno 14 Pro 5G showcases a sophisticated quad-camera arrangement, which includes a 50MP Hypertone main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), alongside a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP telephoto camera that delivers 3.5x lossless optical zoom, complemented by a maximum 120x digital zoom. Additionally, a 50MP front camera equipped with autofocus caters to self-portrait enthusiasts. Oppo asserts that this camera system allows users to take intricate photos in various conditions and lighting scenarios.
This model is also adept at recording 4K HDR video at 60 frames per second across all lenses, including the front-facing camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which supports Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) for smoother video capture. Enhanced audio features, such as Stage Mode and AI Voice Enhancer, aim to isolate vocals while minimising background noise during recordings, making it ideal for use in bustling environments.
Oppo Reno 14 5G Specifications
The standard Reno 14 model features many cameras that match those of the Pro variant, including the 50MP telephoto and front cameras. However, it utilises a Sony IMX882 sensor for its primary lens and is equipped with an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Targeted at content creators and mobile photographers, the Reno 14 Series offers a range of AI editing tools such as AI Editor 2.0. This functionality allows users to recompose photos, correct group shots, or include missing individuals, while AI Style Transfer enhances images by applying stylistic filters influenced by reference images. Additional features include AI Perfect Shot and AI Livephoto 2.0.
Oppo has indicated an improvement in low-light photography capabilities by introducing a Triple Flash Array system, which comprises three dedicated LED modules tailored for different lenses. This enhancement aims to increase visibility and colour precision across diverse distances.
Formal pricing and availability details remain undisclosed, though it is anticipated that the devices will be accessible shortly after the launch event on 3 July at 12pm.
