Smart Home Experience Centre by Panasonic Life Solutions India
Smart homes are becoming increasingly accessible, and Panasonic Life Solutions India has unveiled its Smart Home Experience Centre in the capital. This tech-savvy exhibition aims to illustrate how contemporary residences can harmoniously incorporate health, safety, and convenience through innovative automation. Central to this interactive venue is Miraie, the unique IoT-enabled platform developed by the company, linking various appliances, lighting, air quality systems, and security devices through a single mobile app.
The experience centre showcases Panasonic’s comprehensive smart home range, featuring HVAC systems, indoor air quality (IAQ) solutions, intelligent lighting, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, as well as cutting-edge security equipment such as video door phones and surveillance cameras.
According to Manish Sharma, Chairman and EGSO, Panasonic Life Solutions India, “The growing middle class in India and increased urbanisation are driving the need for smarter, technology-enabled living.” He emphasized that through Miraie and the Smart Home Experience Centre, access to connected and intelligent living is being made more attainable.
Tadashi Chiba, MD & CEO of Panasonic Life Solutions India, remarked that the centre embodies the company’s commitment to overall well-being. “This initiative showcases how Panasonic’s innovative solutions can enhance homes and commercial venues to create intelligent environments centred around comfort, safety, and sustainability.”
Since its launch in 2020, Miraie provides users the ability to manage an extensive range of Panasonic devices including air conditioners, lighting, washing machines, and curtains, all from their smartphones. The platform also supports the Matter protocol, allowing it to incorporate compatible third-party smart home devices.
The centre additionally includes Panasonic’s energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), NanoeX generators to purify indoor air, and AI-driven lighting scenarios designed to adjust based on the time of day or user mood. Multi-tiered security solutions feature prominently, with video door stations, integrated guard stations, and PTZ cameras offering NVR connectivity.
Hardware Meets Design: Showcasing Complete Home Ecosystems
Yoshiyuki Kato, MD of Panasonic Electric Works India, emphasized the integration of wiring devices, lighting solutions, and flooring throughout the centre. “Our brand ranks among the top three in both wiring and lighting fixture markets in India, highlighting the trust we have earned. This facility is a reflection of our dedication to quality and sustainable design.”
Manish Misra, Chief Innovation Officer at Panasonic India, referred to the collaboration between AI and IoT in shaping future residences: “Our aims are clear—wellness, safety, and comfort. The Smart Home Experience Centre is a tangible representation of how this vision is being realised through Miraie.”
The centre is currently accessible to enterprise clients and real estate professionals by appointment, providing developers and architects with an in-depth experience of Panasonic’s integrated smart home ecosystem. For more information or to arrange a demonstration, visit Panasonic India.
