New Panasonic Full-Frame Mirrorless Cameras – LUMIX S1II and LUMIX S1IIE

Panasonic Life Solutions India has launched two innovative full-frame mirrorless cameras, the LUMIX S1II and LUMIX S1IIE, tailored for professional photographers, videographers, and content creators. These models are crafted to provide superior image quality, vibrant colour reproduction, and exceptional video performance suitable for diverse creative needs.

The LUMIX S1II is available starting at ₹3,29,990, while the LUMIX S1IIE is priced from ₹2,69,990. Customers can purchase both models through authorised dealers and Panasonic’s direct sales platform.

As per the company, these cameras come equipped with up to 15 stops of dynamic range in V-Log, AI-enhanced Phase Hybrid Autofocus featuring eye, face, and subject tracking, along with support for various high-resolution recording formats such as 5.8K 60p, 5.1K 60p, and 4K 120p. Furthermore, they allow for internal Apple ProRes RAW HQ recording without the necessity for external equipment.

The LUMIX S1II is designed for professionals who demand high performance and versatility. It is equipped with a 24.1MP full-frame partially stacked CMOS sensor powered by the latest Venus Engine. This model supports blackout-free burst shooting at speeds of up to 70fps and facilitates extended open gate recording for enhanced content framing.

Features of the LUMIX S1IIE

On the other hand, the LUMIX S1IIE caters to creators looking for a significant upgrade in their equipment. It boasts a 24.2MP sensor, 6K open gate video recording, over 14 stops of dynamic range, and burst shooting at 30fps without blackout interruptions.

Advanced Autofocus and Stability

Both cameras include an improved autofocus system featuring a new ‘Urban Sports’ mode for tracking fast-moving and complex subjects. They also come with enhanced in-body image stabilisation, ARRI LogC3 support for cinematic applications, and dual media slots for both SD and CFexpress Type B cards. These models are engineered for durability, operating effectively in extreme temperatures as low as -10°C.
