The Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) glasses can be purchased from Ray-Ban India outlets and leading optical retailers across the nation, starting at a price of Rs 39,900.

Enhanced Features and Performance

Building on the popularity of the first generation, this new model showcases cutting-edge 3K Ultra HD video capture alongside ultrawide HDR capabilities. The battery life has been remarkably enhanced, offering up to eight hours of uninterrupted usage, and is supported by a charging case that delivers an additional 48 hours of power. Additionally, users can achieve a 50% charge in as little as 20 minutes. Future software updates are also anticipated to integrate new capture options such as slow-motion and hyperlapse.

Improved AI Assistant for Users

The integrated Meta AI assistant has received updates to become more efficient and user-friendly, specifically tailored for the Indian audience. Users can now communicate with the AI assistant in full Hindi, making it easier to issue commands, capture photos, and ask questions naturally by saying, “Hey Meta.”

Celebrity AI Voice Feature

A new and exciting feature has been added: the Celebrity AI Voice, allowing users to interact with the assistant using the voice of various famous individuals. Actress Deepika Padukone is now part of the global roster of celebrity voices available for this interactive experience.

Innovative Payment Capabilities

Meta is also testing a unique UPI-Lite payment functionality within the glasses. This feature enables wearers to complete UPI QR-code payments securely. By simply gazing at a code and instructing the assistant to “scan and pay,” users can easily connect to their WhatsApp-linked bank accounts for smooth transactions.

Stylish Options and New Colours

The latest glasses are available in the classic Wayfarer style, as well as the contemporary Skyler and trendy Headliner designs. Consumers can also choose from new seasonal colour variations, including “Shiny Cosmic Blue”, “Shiny Mystic Violet”, and “Shiny Asteroid Grey.”
