Realme has launched the 16 Pro Series, introducing the premium smartphones 16 Pro+ and 16 Pro to the upper mid-range market. This release is complemented by an enhanced ecosystem, which includes the Buds Air 8 and the Pad 3, aimed at utilising advanced imaging capabilities and integrated artificial intelligence.
The series is branded as the “200MP Portrait Master,” with both models boasting the LumaColor Camera system. The Realme 16 Pro+ features a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, offering up to 120x Super Zoom and 4K FullFocal HDR video. This system employs a ProDepth Bokeh Algorithm to deliver three-dimensional depth and meticulous detail across various focal points. The standard 16 Pro includes the same main sensor along with a Golden Portrait Lens Kit, enabling high-resolution photography at different zoom capabilities.
Urban Wild Design and Durability
Developed in partnership with renowned designer Naoto Fukasawa, the series adopts an “Urban Wild Design” ethos, which draws inspiration from natural elements. The 16 Pro+ showcases the industry’s first bio-based organic silicone back cover, featuring a sophisticated wheat-grain texture. Both devices boast IP69 pro-level water resistance, making them resilient against high-pressure water jets and temperatures reaching 80°C. Additionally, the Pro+ model integrates Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for improved drop protection.
High-Performance Hardware and NEXT AI
The Realme 16 Pro+ is driven by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, coupled with Rocket LPDDR5X RAM, facilitating high-frame-rate gaming and smooth multitasking. It sports a 6.8-inch 1.5K HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display, offering a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The standard 16 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max 5G chipset and features a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display. Both models are equipped with a 7,000mAh Titan Battery and the NEXT AI suite, which features tools such as AI Framing Master and Google Gemini Live.

Alongside the smartphones, Realme has introduced the Buds Air 8, which come with 55dB real-time noise cancellation and an 11+6mm dual-driver acoustic setup, coupled with IP55 water resistance and an integrated AI Voice Assistant driven by Google Gemini for face-to-face translation support. Furthermore, the brand has launched the Realme Pad 3, which features a 2.8K book-view display and a 12,200mAh battery. This tablet is equipped with AI-based productivity tools, including AI Recording Summary and Circle to Search.

The Realme 16 Pro Series can be purchased via realme.com, Flipkart, and various offline retail outlets. The 16 Pro+ is available starting at Rs 39,999, while the 16 Pro begins at Rs 31,999. The Realme Pad 3 has a starting price of Rs 26,999, and the Buds Air 8 are available for Rs 3,799. Consumers can also acquire the Realme Smart Pen for Rs 2,999 to boost productivity on the new tablet.
