Galaxy Book6 series marks Samsung Electronics’ latest advancement in laptop technology, officially unveiled during CES 2026. This series includes the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book6, all designed to prioritise high-performance engineering while maintaining a remarkably slim profile, enhancing AI productivity.

Performance Powered by Intel 18A

The Galaxy Book6 series stands out as the first client system-on-chip (SoC) platform to leverage Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 processors, employing Intel’s innovative 18A process. This 1.8-nanometer class node signifies a significant advancement in semiconductor technology, providing up to 16 performance-cores (P-cores) and efficient-cores (E-cores).

This results in a remarkable 60% boost in CPU performance when compared to the previous generation, enabling lightning-fast processing and effortless multitasking. The graphics and AI capabilities are equally formidable, featuring an integrated NPU that delivers up to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This allows for instant execution of AI tasks such as image cleanup and translation, without depending on cloud services.

For those engaged in demanding creative and gaming tasks, the Galaxy Book6 Ultra is equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 and 5060 GPUs. This powerful hardware guarantees an unparalleled entertainment and professional design experience. To accommodate this surge in power, Samsung has redesigned the internal cooling systems, incorporating a high-capacity vapour chamber and a dual-fan system, which ensures stable performance during intensive tasks.

Immersive Visuals and Intelligent Audio

The series showcases Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, offering vivid colour accuracy and smooth motion for both professional and recreational use. Enhancing the visual experience is an intelligent quad-speaker system powered by Dolby Atmos, delivering rich and directional sound. For professional video calls, the laptops include a 2MP camera along with internal dual-array digital microphones.

Portability Meets Longevity

Despite the notable performance enhancements, the Galaxy Book6 series remains highly portable, thanks to its ultra-slim design and lightweight construction. Battery life has also seen improvements; the Galaxy Book6 Ultra boasts a 76Wh battery, while the Pro models offer up to 73.9Wh, designed to maintain productivity throughout the day. The incorporation of Wi-Fi 6E and a versatile assortment of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, assures that these devices are well-equipped for modern, mobile workflows.

He emphasised that performance is core to the PC experience, stating that with the Galaxy Book6 series, Samsung melds incredible speed and capability with dependable AI, delivering exceptional productivity and creativity that users have come to expect from the brand.

Availability

The Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and Galaxy Book6 will be offered in Grey or Silver colour options, launching in select markets from late January 2026. Additionally, Samsung has announced a Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition, designed with features and solutions tailored for managed IT environments, scheduled to be available in select markets starting April 2026.
