Samsung’s Commitment to AI Integration

According to Reuters, TM Roh from Samsung stated that the company intends to implement AI across all products, functions, and services as swiftly as possible. This strategic move aims to provide Samsung with a competitive edge against rivals such as Apple, which is still advancing its AI integration efforts. Furthermore, Samsung’s initiative to expand AI-enabled phones will also assist Google in the AI race, as more users will begin to utilise Gemini AI for their everyday needs.

Reclaiming Popularity in a Competitive Market

The Reuters article underscores Samsung’s efforts to regain its popularity in a tight competition with Apple. The South Korean powerhouse also aims to confront Chinese competitors in both the smartphone and home appliance sectors. Roh pointed out that recent surveys indicate an increase in awareness of Galaxy AI features, with adoption rates skyrocketing from 30% to 80% within just one year, and expectations for ongoing growth. He anticipates that even though AI technology may seem uncertain at present, its adoption will become significantly more widespread within six months to a year.

As a result, it is expected that over the coming months, Samsung will unveil more Galaxy AI features, showcasing deeper integration with Google Gemini across its smartphone range.
