The launch event featured Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra, showcasing Samsung’s dedication to reforming India’s educational landscape. Galaxy Empowered is designed to provide blended learning experiences, mentorship opportunities, and practical training, equipping educators with the latest digital resources in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The goal of Samsung is to prepare teachers for future challenges by equipping them with the tools necessary for boosting student engagement and critical thinking. The programme offers numerous benefits to educators and school leaders, including:

Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President of MX Business at Samsung India, mentioned that with Galaxy Empowered, educators are positioned to elevate student engagement and create long-lasting impacts in education. Through investment in teacher development, Samsung empowers educators to enhance their influence within the classroom, thereby supporting the foundation of the education system.

Since the pilot initiative commenced in December 2024, over 2,700 educators have successfully completed training and certification. Specifically, in Delhi, 250 schools have reaped the benefits of this programme. The initiative is being executed in partnership with Mahattattva Educational Advisory and STTAR, alongside expert trainers and academicians.

Recognising the significance of equipping teachers with appropriate tools, Abhinav Bindra, who was the chief guest at the event, expressed that education is pivotal for societal advancement, and Samsung’s initiative represents a vital move towards empowering teachers to effectively incorporate technology within classrooms.
