Galaxy Tab S11 Series: Samsung’s Latest Flagship Tablets

Galaxy Tab S11 Series introduces Samsung’s newest flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11, showcasing upgraded artificial intelligence tools, enhanced multitasking features, and Samsung’s thinnest tablet design to date.

Launch Details

Both models were revealed on 4 September during a virtual Galaxy Unpacked event. They boast Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, achieving a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has a thickness of 5.1mm and weighs 692g, whereas the Tab S11 measures 5.5mm in thickness and weighs 469g. The Ultra is equipped with an impressive 11,600mAh battery, while the standard model houses an 8,400mAh battery, both capable of 45W fast charging.

Enhanced AI Features

The new Galaxy Tab S11 series features Galaxy AI, allowing for multimodal abilities to process text, audio, and visuals simultaneously. Innovative functions like Gemini Live enable users to share screens in real time and receive contextual assistance, while Drawing Assist and Writing Assist offer creative and editorial support. Included is a redesigned S Pen, which boasts improved ergonomics and tilt control for drawing and writing tasks.

Upgraded Multitasking Capabilities

Samsung has enhanced its DeX platform to provide better multitasking options. The Extended Mode now supports a dual-screen setup with an external monitor, and users can personalise up to four distinct workspaces. The improvements aim to simplify task management, whether it’s for professional endeavours or creative projects.

Specifications and Connectivity

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra features configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, while the Tab S11 starts with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 2TB. Both tablets are compatible with 5G networks, with Wi-Fi 7 available on the Ultra and Wi-Fi 6E on the standard version.

Operating System and Performance

Running on One UI 8, these tablets are powered by Samsung’s state-of-the-art 3nm processor. Users will benefit from a blend of lightweight portability alongside enhanced hardware and AI-driven software designed to elevate productivity and creativity.

Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S11 series provides access to a variety of third-party creative and productivity applications, including Goodnotes, Clip Studio Paint, LumaFusion, and Notion, with complimentary trials and discounts available for new users.
