Samsung Unveils Next-Gen AI-Driven QLED and 4K UHD TVs in India

AI-Powered Televisions by Samsung Unveiled in India

Samsung has launched its newest range of AI-powered televisions in India, showcasing the latest QLED and Crystal 4K UHD models. Starting from 1 May 2025, these televisions can be purchased through Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung’s official website.

The new selection includes the QLED QEF1 series and the Clear 4K UHD UE81, UE84, and UE86 models. Designed to enhance picture quality, smart features, and immersive audio, these TVs prioritise AI-driven capabilities and consumer safety.

At the heart of this launch is the QEF1 QLED TV, which incorporates Samsung’s Real and Safe Quantum Dot technology aimed at delivering exceptional colour accuracy while eliminating cadmium, a potentially harmful substance. The television is powered by the Q4 AI Processor, designed for real-time content optimisation, upscaling to 4K visuals, and enhancing audio quality. Additionally, it includes Samsung Vision AI, which improves scenes by recognising objects, faces, and environments, alongside Pantone Validation to ensure precise colour reproduction.

Security stands out as a prominent feature throughout the range, with Samsung Knox Security included to safeguard users’ data and connected devices. The televisions also support SmartThings, enabling users to manage other smart devices directly from the TV.

The Clear 4K UHD series is equipped with the Crystal Processor 4K and strives to deliver sharper visuals and realistic colours, enhanced by Samsung’s PurColor and One Billion True Colours technology. The models further incorporate OTS Lite (Object Tracking Sound Lite), which offers dynamic surround sound by tracking motion on the screen.

Consumers will have access to what Samsung refers to as “Endless Free Content”, providing a variety of entertainment options without any additional charges. The televisions also support voice assistants, including Bixby and Amazon Alexa, facilitating hands-free control.

Viplesh Dang, Senior Director of Samsung India’s Visual Display Business, emphasised that the launch signifies the company’s dedication to innovation: “With the introduction of our AI-enhanced QLED and Crystal Clear 4K UHD TVs, we are elevating the entertainment experience for consumers. These models, powered by Samsung Vision AI, provide intelligent scene recognition for improved picture quality, making every frame more immersive.”

New models come with launch promotions, including discounts of up to 35%, no-cost EMI plans starting at ₹2,500 per month, and bank cashback of up to ₹3,000.

This expansion aligns with Samsung’s broader initiative to incorporate AI into its consumer electronics, as competition in India’s smart TV sector continues to escalate.
