Simple Energy Launches Simple OneS Electric Scooter

Simple Energy, a clean technology startup, has unveiled the Simple OneS electric scooter at a price of ₹1,39,999 (ex-showroom). This electric scooter boasts a claimed range of 181km (IDC) and can reach a top speed of 105 km/h, making it a notable contender in the long-range electric scooter market within its price category.

Specifications of the Simple OneS

The Simple OneS features an 8.5kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) coupled with a 3.7 kWh fixed battery. It offers four distinct riding modes — Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic. In Sonic mode, it can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.55 seconds. Additionally, it provides 35 litres of underseat storage and has a seat height of 770 mm.

Advanced Connectivity Features

The scooter integrates advanced connectivity capabilities, equipped with a 5G e-SIM, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, enabling riders to manage phone calls via a 7″ touchscreen dashboard. This interface delivers turn-by-turn navigation, app integration, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Safety and user-friendly features include a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), regenerative braking, rapid braking, and a Park Assist function that operates in both forward and reverse directions. Furthermore, it offers ‘Find My Vehicle’ functionality.

Colour Options and Availability

The Simple OneS comes in four attractive colour choices: Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red. This scooter will be available for purchase at 15 Simple Energy showrooms located in Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and Mangalore.
