Tesla Launches Its First Comprehensive Center in Gurugram: A One-Stop Destination for Retail, Charging, and Service

Tesla India Launches First Integrated Tesla Center in Gurugram

Tesla India has officially unveiled its first all-encompassing Tesla Center at Orchid Business Park in Gurugram. This modern facility integrates retail, post-sales service, delivery, and charging stations all in one location, representing Tesla’s most ambitious physical footprint in the nation so far.

Tesla’s goal is to speed up the global shift to sustainable energy. The new facility in Gurugram integrates an experience centre, after-sales service, delivery options, and a charging point all in one venue. By developing charging solutions that align with daily routines, Tesla aims to make electric driving accessible for everyone in India. The charging network is expected to grow rapidly, enhancing the overall electric vehicle experience. The company’s direct business model has generated considerable enthusiasm for electric mobility, promoting strong adoption and enduring trust in sustainable transport throughout India, as stated by Sharad Agarwal, General Manager at Tesla India.

Situated in Sector 48, this centre is tailored to address the increasing interest in electric vehicles across northern India. Visitors can engage with Tesla’s technology, partake in Model Y test drives, access V4 Supercharging, and receive after-sales support all within a cohesive environment. Additionally, Optimus Gen 2, Tesla’s state-of-the-art humanoid robot prototype, will be showcased in Gurugram, along with installations in Mumbai and Delhi.

Tesla initiated its rollout in India in July, beginning with experience centres in Mumbai and Delhi, followed by the introduction of three charging stations in these urban areas. The company is diligently expanding its charging infrastructure, with the One Horizon charging site in Gurugram expected to launch shortly. Once fully operational, Tesla will have four charging stations in India featuring 16 Superchargers and 10 Destination Chargers.

Utilising Supercharging, the Model Y can achieve up to 275 km of range within just 15 minutes, sufficient for several round trips between the new Gurugram centre and Indira Gandhi International Airport. Tesla maintains that its charging network operates with an impressive 99.95 percent uptime, providing reliability for its customers.

The Model Y, which achieved the status of the world’s top-selling vehicle in 2023 and 2024, has received 5-star ratings from various international safety organisations. The starting price is INR 59,89,000, inclusive of home charging support for purchasers. Deliveries can be expected before the year concludes.
