In a discussion with Good Morning America, prior to Apple’s 50th anniversary, Cook remarked how deeply he appreciates his role. He stated that twenty-eight years ago, he joined Apple and has cherished each moment since. Despite the various challenges faced, the team he collaborates with inspires him to excel, and he hopes to reciprocate that encouragement.

Cook expressed that he cannot envision life apart from Apple. This affirmation comes as the company prepares for its 50th anniversary on April 1, 2026. Previous media speculation suggested that he might step down as CEO within the year. Additionally, it was mentioned that John Ternus, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, might succeed Cook, with a transition already in motion. However, given Cook’s latest comments, it appears unlikely he will resign from his position.

Reports suggest that a similar event is planned for Apple’s retail location at Taikoo Li in Chengdu, China, on March 18. Furthermore, preparations are underway for a special Today at Apple session at the Myeongdong store in Seoul, South Korea, featuring the popular South Korean boy band CORTIS.
