Lamp-Free Projectors from ViewSonic for Educational Settings
ViewSonic Corp, a leading provider of visual solutions globally, has revealed the growth of its lamp-free projector range in India. The firm is launching the LSD400 Series high-brightness laser projectors alongside the LSD300W-ST short-throw LED model, tailored to fulfil the changing demands of Indian classrooms and tutorial centres.
Meeting the Needs of Modern Classrooms
With the rise of digital classrooms in Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 cities, educational institutions are on the lookout for dependable, eco-friendly display alternatives that require minimal maintenance. The latest products from ViewSonic aim to meet these requirements by integrating long-lasting light sources with remarkably lower operational costs.
Advanced Efficiency and Durability
The newly launched models utilise cutting-edge 3rd-generation light sources for superior performance while aiming for sustainability:
- LSD400 Series: Employing laser phosphor technology, these models deliver 4,000 ANSI Lumens of brightness and consume up to 49% less energy than traditional lamp-based projectors, featuring a light source lifespan of 30,000 hours.
- LSD300W-ST: This LED model offers 3,300 ANSI Lumens and an impressive 60,000-hour lifespan, equal to over 20 years of typical classroom usage without requiring any lamp replacements.
By eliminating mercury and minimising electronic waste, these projectors contribute to environmental sustainability.
Designed for India’s Unique Conditions
Understanding the varied and often dusty environments of Indian schools, ViewSonic has designed both projector ranges with IP5X-sealed, filter-free optical engines. This feature ensures resistance to dust while reducing maintenance-related downtimes.
The LSD300W-ST is especially ideal for confined tuition spaces, able to project a 100-inch image from just 1.06 metres away. Additionally, its support for 360-degree orientation enables creative installations on floors and ceilings, enhancing interactive learning.
Effortless Integration and Administration
For larger universities and educational networks, the LSD400HD-ST provides certified compatibility with standard industry systems such as Crestron, Extron, and Q-SYS. This enables IT teams to manage and oversee multiple projectors from a central point.
Muneer Ahmad, VP Sales and Marketing at ViewSonic India, stated that the new LSD400 Series and LSD300W-ST bolster their supremacy in lamp-free technology within India. These offerings present ideal brightness and total cost of ownership benefits for every type of educational environment, from expansive lecture halls to smaller tuition rooms.
With these recent introductions, lamp-free models now constitute over 70% of ViewSonic’s projection lineup in India, highlighting a strong dedication to sustainable educational technology.
